“Avoca Beach residents took their fight against the sinking of the Adelaide to the streets yesterday staging protests in Gosford and Sydney.
The ship will be sunk off Avoca Beach on Saturday and used as an artificial diving reef.
Opposition to the plan has escalated over the past few weeks when Avoca Beach residents realised the ship would be scuttled off Avoca and not Terrigal.”
